Good Finds!

Sometimes I get lucky with estate sale finds!  Latest goodies...

Roseville, Weller, Redwing Pottery all purchased cheap!!!!

A mink muff with a front zip pocket to act as a purse.  Vintage white leather gloves.  Vintage elf & Santa knee-benders from the 1950's.  Floral tablecloths, etc........

Fun work for me!  Already researched, priced & displayed in my antique booth.

  2. Helga, you wouldn't believe how inexpensive everything was. None of the pottery pieces were over $10.00 & the gloves $2.00.

  4. Sarah, Estate sales in my area are advertised in the local newspaper. Every item is priced, so it is not an auction. Full price the first day with 1/2 price the second day. They usually start around 8:00 & there will be a line of people waiting at the door. I carry a box with me to fill with items I want to purchase...because if you don't pick it up, someone else will. They will have people walking around to help shoppers & a cashier table set up for paying. I have found estate sales to be the best place to find inexpensive antiques & household items. In the past, attending our local auction, I spend too much or get caught up in the excitement of the bid. Plus they have a buyers premium & tax which adds up. At the estate sales, no tax. For me, it's exciting. Thanks for visiting my blog. Janice XX
